We are strengthening community spirit, breaking down barriers to make tasks and activities accessible to all, and encouraging people to consider what they buy more thoughtfully and recognise it's impact on the environment.

Can I donate to the shed?

We want our library of things to be filled with pre-loved items donated by the community.

​

If you've got items that you no longer want or need, in working condition, they could get a new lease of life being borrowed by members of the shed.

Why join the Shed?

Become a member and you can hire all manner of handy items and tools for a week, with rental costing £1, £4 or £8, depending on the item.

 

We're also planning workshops and community events you can attend, as well as the satisfaction that you are making a positive impact on not only our little town, but the planet as a whole!

Can I help?

Absolutely, is our answer!

You can donate items for our inventory, volunteer time and expertise, and even pitch in with running costs to help us update and maintain our library of things. We are constantly blown away and grateful for the help that we are offered.
